I've been meaning to start blogging again. I used to blog daily before I had kids. I wish I could find my old blog entries etc. Would be interesting to re-read what I wrote about before I had kids! Anyway here's my new one with my exciting life with kids! :) Today has been a really good day! The sun was (is!) shining and the kids woke up in good moods! I took Lex to preschool and I promised him we'd walk over to the water park for a play afterward. I knew this would be a hassle but I need to learn to do things with three kids! So while Lex was having fun and learning away, and while Kaylea was making a mess of her breakfast I prepared! I made Chris' lunch and the kids lunches and gathered everything I needed for the kids all the while giving Miley a few bounces in her bouncy seat to keep her asleep! Kaylea and I ate our lunch early, I fed Miley then we piled into the truck to get Lex. First we had to do a quick stop at Daddy's work to drop his lunch off since usually he comes home. Lex had some art work he had done, a Humpty Dumpty on a wall and a painting. Lex's first month of Preschool I was so excited with all the new artwork he would bring home. I would display it proudly on the fridge, then when I had to make room for new art I would safely pack it away...now there is just so much of it I find I am putting it into the recycle bin right away...sorry Lex. Pretty soon when I have 3 kids in school I will be over run with artwork. wet glue, and glitter and paint chips everywhere. :S It was such a beautiful day! Lex played with a few kids from his preschool class while Kaylea tripped and fell about. Chris wanted me to take some pictures, but I got caught up chatting with a preschool mom and a friend I bumped into. So I forgot until the end when I took a couple. :) Now we are all refreshed and reenergized from the delicious sun! I forgo'd the Vitamin D Drops today as Miley got a healthy dose of the REAL deal. Kaylea's napping and Lex and I are sitting here watching movies. He doesn't seem to fond of the "oldschool" disney classics...we watched the Sword in the Stone, he would have asked to switch movies but he was paitently was waiting for a sword fight to happen. haha. poor guy. Daddy will be home in an hour, he'll be coming home to a relatively tidy house (since we were out most of the day they couldn't mess it up!) and no dinner!
