I'm feeling a bit blue today. I guess just a mixture of left over pregnancy hormones added to my crazy hormones, added to the stress of every day life just gets you that way sometimes. At least it was a nice day out today, you could even say it was hot! Miley got a nice dose of real vitamin D outside as the kids played. Miley and I sat out there for a good 10-15 minutes before I realized there was potential for a burn on Miley's precious, delicate baby skin!
Kaylea could play out there for hours, she loves mucking in the buckets of left over rain water, or eating the soggy chalk that was left out in the rain. When I finally dragged her inside for nap time she was NOT happy with me! She was all wet, and her hands were dirty and cold but she didn't care!
Chris came home early today from work, not to early though, just an hour but it was still nice. Ferg came and moved out most of his stuff today, and Chris was right on moving ANYTHING kid back to the playroom. Which is nice to have our Living rooms back and not over taken with kids toys!
I finally finished my Thank-You Cards for Miley's Baby Shower Gifts. Her shower was February 14th and I could never find the time to do them. Every time I would sit down Lex would want something, or Kaylea was having a fit and wanting attention, or Miley wouldn't be put down or wanted to eat! But today I knew I procrastinated long enough and set out to do them. So there I sat bouncing Miley away in her bouncy seat and ooh'ng and ahh'ng at Lex's art work he was doing beside me to get them done! Now I just need to get 20 stamps and mail them off and I'm Golden!
It's 20 after 10 right now, and I just took out a nice fresh batch of Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies. I only burnt the top ones a bit. haha. I whipped them up in hopes to suffocate the blue feelings I am having. I can't wait to eat a cookie. I really shouldn't...but I so am. Probably even more then 1! I really need to get on dieting but I'm so ravenously hungry all the time that I'd just starve. I will probably start exerscising as soon as I get the go ahead from the doctor at my 6 week appt. Which by the way my 6 weeks is on Monday! I can now start lifting things other then my baby...haha...what a joke, they expect you not to lift anything heavier then your baby...how are you supposed to NOT lift your crying screaming 18 month old after they've fallen and hurt themselves!? Yup so I've been lifting Kaylea since 2 weeks Post Partum! Ohwell no hernia that I can see...and my stitches never popped out so I'm good I guess... Well I better wrap this up, Miley is crying and those Cookies are calling my name...piping hot or not I am so eating one!
